Ryan Weisenberg
College - Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo
Ryan Weisenberg enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Houston Comets after being named to his position on March 13, 2007. Weisenberg enters his fourth season as an assistant coach in the WNBA most recently completing his third season as assistant coach with the Los Angeles Sparks.

Before joining the Los Angeles Sparks coaching staff as Assistant Coach, Weisenberg spent three seasons as the teamís primary Video Coordinator. He also worked for the World Champion Los Angeles Lakers as the Assistant Video Coordinator and Player Scout.

Weisenberg began his coaching career in 1995 at Mission Prep High School where he served as the Boys JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach. Over the two years at Mission Prep, he honed his skills and talent as an Assistant Coach, Video Scout, and Basketball Camp Director at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. In addition to his current responsibilities with the Lakers and Sparks, the Pasadena native, recently completed his fifth season as Head Coach of the Boys Varsity Basketball Team at South Pasadena High School.

He earned a Master of Education from Azusa Pacific University in May 2002 and a Bachelor of Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Weisenberg lettered in basketball, football, and baseball from St. Francis High School.
