Southwest Airlines Employees are touched by the amazing accomplishments that take place at Ronald McDonald Houses throughout the nation," said Tena Griffith, Manager Sports Marketing for Southwest Airlines. "We are delighted to partner with the WNBA to treat these deserving families to an enjoyable evening at a WNBA game.

Shoot for Hope was collaboratively developed between Southwest Airlines and the WNBA to give deserving families who have stayed at the Ronald McDonald House and experienced challenging obstacles a chance to receive a special WNBA experience to inspire hope and support. Shoot For Hope is a part of WNBA Cares, the league’s global community outreach initiative.

In the 2008 season, the WNBA and Southwest Airlines are proud to provide families with a Shoot For Hope experience that includes:
• Southwest Airlines roundtrip travel and hotel stay for family
• WNBA game tickets and gifts
• VIP in-arena experience including a chance for the family to interact with the players, coaches, dancers and mascots
