Shoot for Hope was collaboratively developed between
Southwest Airlines and the WNBA to give deserving families who have stayed
at the Ronald McDonald House and experienced challenging obstacles a chance
to receive a special WNBA experience to inspire hope and support. Shoot
For Hope is a part of WNBA Cares, the league’s global community outreach
In the 2008 season, the WNBA and Southwest Airlines are
proud to provide families with a Shoot For Hope experience that includes:
• Southwest Airlines roundtrip travel and hotel stay for family
• WNBA game tickets and gifts
• VIP in-arena experience including a chance for the family to interact
with the players, coaches, dancers and mascots
Last week, Lauren Hill of Mount St. Joseph University courageously took the floor for her first college game, refusing to let an inoperable brain tumor keep her from achieving her dream – and WNBA stars Elena Delle Donne and Tamika Catchings were on hand to lend their support.
