In Russia, Tina Charles picked up EuroLeague Week 8 MVP honors, her fifth of the season with a 33 point, 15 rebound performance in a 68-64 Wisla Can-Pak win over Bourges on December 12th. The Sun center is averaging 29.8 points and 13.8 rebounds in five EuroLeague games for the Polish team.
Renee Montgomery is averaging 15.5 points and 4.5 assists in six EuroLeague games for Nadezhda Orenburg, She had 14 points, four assists, three steals and two rebounds in a 77-67 loss to Good Angels on December 12th. In Russian League play, the Sun guard is averaging 14.0 points and 3.8 assists in five games. On December 9th, she had 18 points, six assists and three steals in a 88-68 loss to Dynamo Moscow.
In Turkey, Sun forward Asjha Jones had 19 points, 13 rebounds and four assists as Kayseri defeated Antakya 84-76 in Turkish League action on December 9th. Jones is averaging 15.8 points, 11.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists in four Turkish League games for Kayseri. On December 13th, she had 16 points and 10 rebounds in Kayseri�s 63-55 EuroCup win over Mersin to advance to the quarterfinals. Jones is averaging 15.3 points and 6.3 rebounds in four EuroCup games.
On December 13th, Danielle McCray had 13 points, five rebounds and three assists in a 66-62 Famila Schio win over Targoviste in EuroLeague action. McCray is averaging 12.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists in seven EuroLeague contests for the Italian squad.
In France, Mistie Mims is averaging 14.5 points and 6.8 rebounds in eight French League games for Lyon. Most recently, she had 16 points, eight rebounds and four steals in a 63-41 win over Toulouse on December 7th.
Kalana Greene made her debut for Pozzuoli in Italy on December 9th, pulling down 15 rebounds to go along with two steals and one point in a 61-45 loss to Lucca.
In Australia, Kelsey Griffin had seven points and eight rebounds as Bendigo defeated the Dandenong Rangers on December 8th. She is averaging 18.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.4 steals in five games for the Australian squad.
Sun guard Allison Hightower had 14 points, six assists, four rebounds and three steals as Elitzur Ramla defeated Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion 79-53 on December 10th. Hightower is averaging 15.4 points, 5.0 assists and 4.8 rebounds in five games for the Israeli team.
