Storm Signs Three to Training Camp Contracts
Douglas, Hall, McFarland Sign with Storm

SEATTLE - The Storm announced that the team has signed Taylor Hall, Valencia McFarland and Chelsea Douglas to training camp contracts. The trio joins Vanderbilt product Jasmine Lister, who signed a training camp contract with the Storm on April 16.

The 2014 Southern Conference Player of the Year, Hall finished her career at UT-Chattanooga ranked 20th all-time in career points with 1,183 and eighth in career rebounds, with 814. The 6-1 forward, a product of New Tazewell, Tenn., was also named the 2014 Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Year and Southern Conference Tournament Most Outstanding Player.

McFarland comes to Seattle following a standout career at Ole Miss. She capped her time in Mississippi by being named to the AP All-American Honorable Mention Team and All-SEC Second Team. McFarland, a 5-4 guard, led the team in scoring her senior season with 17.0 points per game, while handing out a total of 201 assists.

Douglas finished her career as Wake Forest�s fourth all-time leading scorer with 1,656 points. She averaged a career-high 18.6 points as a senior, and was named to the ACC All-Tournament Team in her final two seasons. The 5-5 guard did not miss a game in her four-year Demon Deacon career.

The Storm opens training camp on April 27 at Seattle Pacific University before hosting Los Angeles in a preseason game on May 11 at 1 p.m. The Sparks return to KeyArena for Opening Night on May 16 at 7 p.m. Season ticket packages including exclusive benefits are still available at StormBasketball.com or by calling (206) 217-WNBA (9622).
