SEATTLE - The Seattle Storm has added three players to its training camp roster for the upcoming 2011 season, Storm Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel Brian Agler announced today.

Local product Breanna Salley, a 5-11 forward from Seattle University, leads the trio. Joining her will be Courtney Ward, a 5-7 guard out of Florida State, and Lauren Prochaska, a 5-11 guard/forward from Bowling Green.

Salley, who transferred to Seattle U. from Minnesota, led the Redhawks in scoring in 2008-09 but did not play the last two seasons after being ruled ineligible by the NCAA.

We watched Breanna at a free agent camp in Indianapolis and were impressed with her versatility and competitiveness, Agler said. She will be a good addition to our camp.

Ward, the Seminoles career leader in assists and three-pointers made, led FSU to a seventh consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance in 2011.

Prochaska, a two-time Mid-American Conference Player of the Year, finished her career as the leading scorer in Bowling Green history (2,290 points) after averaging 17.9 points per game as a senior. En route to the scoring mark, she set an NCAA Division I record with 70 consecutive free throws made.

Training camp opens May 15 and Salley, Ward and Prochaska will join 2011 draft picks Jasmine Thomas and Krystal Thomas of Duke, and Ify Ibekwe from the University of Arizona, as rookies in camp. The Storm's roster for training camp now stands at 17.

The Storm will open its 12th WNBA season with a nationally televised game on ABC on Saturday, June 4 in a 12 noon matchup against the Phoenix Mercury at KeyArena. 2011 Storm season tickets starting at just $10 per seat, per game and deposits for group tickets and ticket packages are available online at stormbasketball.com or by calling 206-217-WNBA.
