Storm Acquires Robinson
Robinson, a two-year veteran, is averaging 1.5 points and 2.8 rebounds in 10.2 minutes per game for the Sky.
“This trade helped us meet our need for depth in the post,” Anne Donovan said. “In Robinson, we get an experienced center that will help make us a more competitive team as we move in to the second half of the season.”
The Storm signed Greenwalt as a free agent on May 27. She averaged 2.0 rebounds in four games played.
Greenwalt was originally selected by the Sacramento Monarchs in the third round (35th pick overall) of the 2005 WNBA Draft and was waived prior to the start of the 2005 WNBA season. She signed a free-agent contract with the Monarchs on Feb. 9, 2006 and appeared in two preseason games this spring, averaging 2.5 ppg, 2.0 rpg and 1.0 apg, before being waived on May 18.
