    On the game:
We really had to dig down deep for that one. I just told them in the locker room to remember how that feels because we're going to have to go back there again and again and again. We played through it and made some really big plays both offensively and defensively.

On the Storm's defense in the fourth quarter:
We work a lot on our defense, obviously; we emphasize it. It was just a tremendous team effort out there defensively during that stretch. We've got very good competitors on this team and we played against a very good defensive team.

    On the Fever:
When (Tamika) Catchings gets back going in full go, they are going to be so good. They are already right there competing for a championship in the East without her playing consistent minutes.

    On the game:
We played a good game defensively in the fourth quarter. That's something we can do, though. It's something we've been working on all season, it's something we've come to rely on and it feels good.

    On her scoring:
I'm just trying to do whatever my team needs me to do to get wins. Luckily tonight it worked out for us.

    On Indiana taking the lead:
That was definitely not the plan. But we responded and that's the good news about it. We knew they were too good of a team to just lay down and die. It was just about getting ourselves back on track.

    On Bird's performance:
She's a great player. She played well tonight and she's the reason we won.

On the difference in the fourth quarter:
Nothing, really. We just wanted to win. We were desperate for it.

    On the Storm:
We just have to play our game and do what we normally do and hopefully put ourselves in position to get a win out there.

On the difference in the game:
The free throws. Youíve got to be kidding me. Itís a miracle we had a chance to win. When youíve got a discrepancy - we take 10 and they take 27? Iím not saying weíre not aggressive, but so are they. I was really disappointed in some of the calls. I thought we took three charges that they didnít call. Catchings got clobbered there at the end. It was like she got mugged and they didnít call it. That was unfortunate that a game as competitive as this had to come down to something like that. I was really disappointed in the difference. You canít win on the road when your opponent takes 27 free throws and you take 10. That really hurts.

    On the fourth quarter:
Made a run, got ahead and missed a key layup that was wide open that wouldíve separated us by five points. But then they came back down and hit a shot. I give our kids credit. They battled and even though they were frustrated with the officiating, at the end of the day they didnít let it upset them so much. The discrepancy in the fouls was certainly a factor.

    On Catchings:
Sheís doing better. Sheís playing in spurts and trying to get her rhythm. What we really love about her is her energy. She got seven rebounds in 16 minutes. Weíre still experimenting with her at the three some and at the four some, but what weíre looking forward to is when she can play a whole game. She was a real spark for us. But weíre a work in progress.

    On how she's feeling:
Iím doing good. Iím coming along slowly but surely. Iíve come a long ways, but Iíve got a long way to go.

On the difference in the game:
Turnovers, definitely. We always try to create for each other and then had a lot of unforced turnovers. We try to get the ball and move it around because weíre a very unselfish team, but it shows too much sometimes. We have shots that are open and we donít take them. That was the biggest difference. And then down the stretch, we didnít make the defensive stops that we needed to. We didnít convert on their turnovers either.

    On the Storm's defense:
There were periods where they played really well and then a lot times we just did it to ourselves. We had turnovers and had open shots, but when we saw somebody wide open weíre trying to give it to them. Thatís kind of been the story for us thus far. Itís something we have to go back and look at to see what shots we should and shouldnít have taken. For myself, I took two quick shots that I probably shouldnít have taken, but that filters throughout the team.

    On the game:
Basketball is a game of runs and thankfully we were able get in here and regroup at halftime and talk about some things we needed to do better. I think we came out much better in the third quarter and made a good run. You know, give them credit. Their runs seemed to be a little more consistent than ours. Itís just some little things we need to keep honing in on in order to get a win.
