Brian Agler Reaches 100 Wins

With the Storm's 92-84 victory over the New York Liberty on Friday, Head Coach Brian Agler reached 100 wins during his WNBA coaching career. Agler is the eighth coach in league history to win at least 100 games. Stormbasketball.com breaks down all the relevant facts from this noteworthy milestone.

Reaction to Agler's Milestone

Storm guard Sue Bird:
I think it's great. Brian, he's been with a couple of teams, but I feel like he's always had a really good ability to get the best out of his players and produce winning teams. I think that's what this milestone means.

Obviously he's been in this game a long time, coaching in the WNBA, so I think it will be great for him and his family.

That's awesome. It's a big day for him.

That's great for him. I'm glad we can help him get there. I'm glad he's still coaching. He's a great coach and he knows a lot about the game. He loves basketball, period. I'm proud of him and happy that he's doing great. He's a winning coach. Some coaches you can't say that about. If we continue to play like we're playing and he continues to lead us, I think he's going to get a lot more wins.

Any time you can get 100 wins in a league, it's a great milestone. Not everyone can say they've won 100 games as a coach. It's a testament to him and what he does as a coach. I think everyone will be happy for him.
