SAN ANTONIO The San Antonio Stars and H-E-B today unveiled the newly renovated gym at the Young Womens Leadership Academy (SAISD). To celebrate WNBA Cares Week and the start of the 2014 WNBA season, the Stars and H-E-B partnered with the Young Womens Leadership Academy (YWLA) to update the 60-year-old gym and provide YWLA students with a fresh and current space to exercise and practice. The newly designed Stars- and Cardinals-themed space was provided by H-E-B Tournament of Champions, Silver & Black Give Back and XGrafx.

Stars players, coaches and H-E-B representatives joined the YWLA student-body in a special net cutting ceremony to dedicate the new gym complete with YWLA and Stars-themed designs, fresh paint and new equipment.
