Stars to Face Minnesota Lynx in Western Conference Semifinals

The San Antonio Stars will face the Minnesota Lynx in Game 1 of the 2014 WNBA Western Conference Semifinals on Thursday, Aug. 21 at the Target Center in Minneapolis at 8 p.m. The Stars will then host Game 2 at the AT&T Center on Saturday, Aug. 23 at 6 p.m. Both games will be televised by ESPN2.

If necessary, Game 3 will be played in Minneapolis on Monday, Aug. 25 and will be televised by NBA TV (time TBD). Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals at the AT&T Center will be $1 Drink Night, and lower level tickets start at just $11.

The Stars finished the 2014 WNBA regular season with a 16-18 overall record, marking a third place finish in the Western Conference standings. The Lynx finished second in the Western Conference with a 25-9 record. This will mark the first playoff matchup between the two teams since the Lynx eliminated the Stars in the 2011 Western Conference Semifinals.

Fans can purchase tickets to Game 2 at the AT&T Center by visiting or by calling a Stars sales representative at 210-444-5090. Tickets can also be purchased at the AT&T Center Southeast Box Office Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or on weekend event days starting at 10 a.m.
