Sparks at All-Star Weekend

Shaquille and Lisa may enjoy playing for the same franchise but their first love is hanging out and "chatting it up" whenever they get a chance.
From Hip-Hop's greatest to NBA Legends, Sparks center Lisa Leslie and rookie point guard Nikki Teasley rubbed elbows with the best at the 2003 NBA All-Star Game.

Not to be confused with the 75,000 fans which packed the city of Atlanta, these Champions were in town to take care of business as participants in the NBA All-Star Saturday Night presented by America Online.

As Lisa Leslie, Magic Johnson, Clippers Guard Marko Jaric and celebrity Ashton Kutcher defeated the East 23-19, in the Jeep Hoop-it-Up 3-on-3 Game, the Rookie/Sophomore duo of Nikki Teasley and Shawn Marion earned Western Conference sweepstakes winner Charles Thomas of Sister, OR $50,000 and an opportunity to shoot for $1 Million in the Philips $1 Million Big Shot contest. The Teasley/Marion combo out shot east coast competitors, Stacey Dales-Schuman (Washington Mystics) and Paul Pierce (Boston Celtics) who represented Eastern Conference sweepstakes winner, David Cousineau of Worcester, MA.

In between they also made several appearances on behalf of the WNBA and found a few moments to pose with a couple of their own celebrity favorites.
