The Wheaton North High School Girls Basketball Team has shown that they have what it takes to succeed on the court as well as in the Wheaton community. The Wheaton North Falcons have won the last five games of their season to bring their record to 19-6, which is the best record in school history. That record also has them in second place in the DuPage Valley Conference.

While compiling wins on court the Falcons have also demonstrated excellence off the court and in the community. Over the past year the Falcons have undertaken various events and raised close to $30,000 for the Jack Pribaz Foundation, also known as Jacks Army. Jacks Army was named after Jack Pribaz, a three-year old who suffers from epilepsy. The Foundation was established to find a cure for the KCNQ2 gene mutation and it helps fund research on this specific gene and assists the medical world in understanding the cause.

As a Chicago Sky Girls High School Basketball Team of the Week award winner, the team will be provided a complimentary Team Night Out ticket package to the 2013 Sky Youth Sports Night game at Allstate Arena, where they will have the opportunity to watch the worlds best female basketball players. During the game, they will be honored on court and will receive an award to recognize their accomplishments. The Sky will recognize a varsity girls High School Basketball Team of the Week award winner every week until March 27th, 2013.
