
Sky Drop Tough Game to Sun 82-77
Swin Cash led the Sky with 21 points and 15 rebounds, both highs this season and her first double-double in a Chicago uniform. Epiphanny Prince had 14 points and Courtney Vandersloot finished with 15 points and five assists. Vandersloot�s first assist on a Epiphanny Prince 3-pointer with 6:41 left in the first set a Sky all-time season record for assists with 128, breaking the mark she set last year.
The Sky were able to build a 14 point lead in the first half due to hot shooting and aggressively taking it to the basket, but Chicago cooled off in the second half and the Sun�s Tina Charles took advantage of Sylvia Fowles� absence from the lineup and scored a team high 24 points
Following tonight�s game, the Sky fell behind the New York Liberty by one-half game for fourth place in the WNBA�s Eastern Conference. The Sky has six games remaining; the Liberty five.
Renee Montgomery finished the game with 12 points for Connecticut including three big 3-pointers in the second half.
The Sky (11-17) head home to face the Lynx on Tuesday, while the Sun (21-8) travel to Phoenix to play the Mercury on Wednesday
