The Chicago Sky celebrated Breast Health Awareness (BHA) Night on August 23 as they defeated the New York Liberty, clinching their first playoff berth in history. Through our BHA Week activities, the Sky raised $10,000 for the ACS through donations and by hosting an auction featuring several Chicago sports team’s memorabilia.

The Sky continues their support of breast health into October, Breast Health Awareness month. Head Coach and General Manager Pokey Chatman along with Sky staff will participate in the ACS’ “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk” on Saturday, October 26.

The ”Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk” series is a three-to-five mile walk in a variety of cities across the country. The Sky will take part in the Chicago, Ill. walk at Soldier Field Stadium Green (1410 Museum Campus Drive, Chicago IL). The walk begins at 10 a.m. CT.
