The 2014 BIG EAST Tournament (

For the first time in its history, the BIG EAST Women’s Basketball Tournament is being played in Chicago. This is women’s college basketball at the highest level with plenty of entertainment to go along with great games.

Bands, mascots, cheerleaders, dance teams and activities on the concourse for the kids – there will be something for everyone! The winner of the tournament will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament.

Four of the current BIG EAST teams advanced to the NCAA Tournament last season. The preseason favorite to win the BIG EAST was Chicago’s-own, DePaul University.
