  • Minutes: 45
  • Only the 4th triple-double in the history of the WNBA
    Shock Head Coach Bill Laimbeer

    On Deanna Nolan's play:
"The team knows, the coaches know, that Deanna can be the best player in the league, the best guard in the league. When she plays with that kind of energy and that kind of determination and the will to win, she's really good as you all saw but unfortunately we put ourselves in that position where we had to scratch and claw again and we talked about that. If Deanna plays like that from the start and makes everybody keep up with her on our team, we'll be just fine."

On the nine-day layoff affecting play:
"I think it was more of a focus thing, probably a little bit of rust, our shots weren't going in, we shot terrible, missed a lot of lay-ups, missed free-throws, turned the ball over. Anything that could have gone wrong did go wrong for most of the game until Deanna decided to put us on her shoulders and will us to victory."

On adjustments made during the game:
"Effort, effort, effort, and give the ball to Deanna. With Swin out, Deanna is the one we have to look to to dominate the action for us. When Swin's there, we have two players to do that for us."

    Shock Guard Deanna Nolan

    On the game:
" Its about effort, we're really not thinking about being tired. I was just trying to bring some energy to our team We laid down in the first half and we were just trying to bring the energy, get everyone going a little bit, try to get some easy bounces

On braking the franchise record for points in a game:
"It means a lot, it means I'm going to have to break this one now. It was a great win for us. We made the big shots when they counted, made the big free throws when they counted."

    Shock Forward Cheryl Ford

    On Deanna Nolan's play:
"We all know that Deanna is the best player in this league. She's only stopping herself, we tell her that every day, the sky's the limit for her, she's only stopping herself. She's incredible. We told her the whole time, 'They can not stop you. What took you so long?'"

    Liberty Head Coach Pat Coyle

    On Deanna Nolan's performance:
"She is a great player, you expect great players to make great plays and she did."

    On Liberty's defense:
"We had a terrific effort for about 35 minutes and then we broke down offensively and defensively but I give them credit they were down and they came back, but we can't brake down like we did."

    Liberty Forward Crystal Robinson

    On the game:
"We gave it away. Down the stretch we didn't execute. Deanna Nolan stepped up and hit some big shots and we should have never been in that situation."
