Tiffany Hayes joined elite company this season at Connecticut, joining Diana Taurasi, Maya Moore and Renee Montgomery as the only Huskies to rank in the top 10 in games played, points, assists and three-pointers made.

Hayes, a two-time national champions, scored a career-high 35 points against Syracuse which was immediately followed with 33 points and 10 rebounds against University of South Florida to earn Big East Player of the Week honors.

Hayes has developed an efficient all-around game as she is shooting 51 percent from the field, 43 percent from behind the arc and 81 percent from the free throw line while recording three double-doubles this season. Hayes is a scoring guard that can attack the basket in a multitude of ways. Her experience playing with top-level talent at UConn should immediately translate to success on the court at the professional level.
