Lynx Capture Franchise's First Title

Despite a furious comeback by Atlanta to push the series further, the Minnesota Lynx finished off the Dream 73-67 in Atlanta on Friday night to capture the franchise's first WNBA title. Lynx Take 2-0 Series Lead

Seimone Augustus (36 points, eight rebounds) led an unrelenting Lynx attack as Minnesota rallied to defeat the Dream 101-95 at home Wednesday in Game 2, taking a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five Finals. Angel McCoughtry had a record 38 points for the Dream.
