Page Returns to Mystics

Washington Mystics General Manager Linda Hargrove announced today that veteran player Murriel Page will return to the Washington Mystics. Per company policy, terms of the contract will not be released.

“We are thrilled to have Murriel back with the Mystics, “said Hargrove. “She has been an integral member of this team for seven seasons and her leadership will be important to us as we continue on our quest for a WNBA Championship.”

A 6-1 forward from the University of Florida, Page finished her collegiate career ranked second all-time in points (1,915) and rebounds (1,251). She holds the school record for the most double-doubles in a season with 13 and was named a Kodak All-American for the 1997-98 seasons.
