Thoughts on the game:
“I thought we played really hard. But again, we came out in the third quarter and fell a little flat. It’s not something we can do. What I told the team is that this is a highly competitive league and we have to focus and be intense for forty minutes and we have to make shots. Right now we’re in a little bit of a shooting slump. We took 15 more shorts than Connecticut. We just have to make more shots and that’s the name of the game.”

On falling flat in the third quarter:
“When you don’t make shots, it’s a little deflating. We came out missed a couple of shots and turned the ball over. It takes us out of our offensive rhythm. There are two things we have to do. We have to play with energy all the time and we have to take care of the basketball.”

Overall thoughts on things to improve :
“We need to improve everything. We need to improve one-on-one defense, hitting free-throws. Everything, all across the board, so it’s not just one certain area, we need to come out and not be real stagnant in the third-quarter.”

On making adjustments from the first to the second half:
“I guess all the nervousness was out of everyone’s mind and body. We played more aggressive. We told ourselves we are better than this.”

Overall thoughts on the game:
“We need to be more consistent, coming out in the second half ready to fight and ready to play; we just need to leave it all out there. We need to be more confident and aggressive. Teams are coming in here and they’re being the aggressive ones. They came out after halftime and they hit us first. We were down six and then we went down twelve. We have to start the second half a lot stronger than we did.”
