Latta & Langhorne Named to WNBA All-Star Team
Washington, D.C. –Washington Mystics players Ivory Latta and Crystal Langhorne have been selected as reserves for the 11th Boost Mobile WNBA All-Star game to be held this Saturday, July 27 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. It is Latta’s first all-star nod. She joined the Mystics in February and leads the team in scoring (14.4 ppg) and assists (3.9 apg). Langhorne will join her teammate for her second all-star appearance. She continues to lead the team in rebounding (6.7 rpg) for the fourth consecutive year and averages 12.8 points per game. She has also participated in the “WNBA vs. USA Basketball: The Stars at the Sun game that took place in lieu of the All-Star game in 2010.
The All-Star reserves were selected by the WNBA coaches. The 2013 WNBA All-Star Game will be televised nationally on ABC at 3:30 p.m. EST.
