Military Appreciation Night: May 23
PHOENIX –To celebrate Military Appreciation Month, the Phoenix Mercury will honor veterans and active men and women of the military during Military Appreciation Night on Friday, May 23, when the team takes on the San Antonio Stars. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. The special evening is part of the WNBA’s “Hoops for Troops” platform.
Prior to tipoff, fans are encouraged to visit the Military Appreciation table inside the Casino Arizona Pavilion to write a “Thank You” message to military personnel on red, white and blue paper.
