Mercury Remembers 10th Anniversary of 9/11

The Mercury will honor and host the Valley’s first responders, military, police and fire departments and pay tribute to the lives lost during the attacks on September 11, 2001 at the game on Sunday against the Minnesota Lynx at 3 p.m. The teams will also wear 9/11 remembrance shooting shirts at the game, which will be telecast live on Fox Sports AZ Plus.

Additionally, the first 4,000 people through the doors will receive an official 2011 Mercury team poster. All fans are invited to participate in an all-team autograph session following the game on Sunday. Tickets for Sunday’s game are still available starting as low as $10.

With two regular season games remaining, the Mercury holds the second or third spot in the Western Conference standings. The team’s first home playoff game will be September 15 or 17 at 7 p.m. against the Seattle Storm.
