Anne Mariucci Bio
Ms. Mariucci is currently involved in the private equity investment arena on a local and national basis.
Ms. Mariucci is active in the local and national business community through a number of Boards and affiliations. On a national level, she is a Trustee of the Urban Land Institute, the pre-eminent trade organization of the development industry. She is a former Director of the Center for Housing Studies at Harvard. On a local level, she currently serves as a Director of the Arizona State Retirement System (a $22 Billion pension fund), Scottsdale Healthcare, and the ASU Carey School of Business Deanís Council. She is a member of Greater Phoenix Leadership (GPL) and recently completed service on the Governorís Citizens Finance Review Commission.
Ms. Mariucci has long been active in the Phoenix charitable community. She is currently a Board member of th Fresh Start Womenís Foundation and serves United Way as a member of the Steering Committee for the Alexis de Tocqueville Society for large donors. Previously, she chaired the annual LPGA Phoenix tournament, which has raised over $2mm for cancer care. She is a former Director of the Banner Health Foundation.
Ms. Mariucci is a past winner of the Athena Award, given annually to the top businesswoman in the state of Arizona. In 2002, Ms. Mariucci was honored by the Arizona Chapter of the National Italian American Foundation as itís Woman of the Year. The NIAF also awarded Ms. Mariucci with the 2002 Special Achievement Award in Community Service and Business.
Ms. Mariucci earned her Bachelorsí degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Arizona, and she completed the Corporate Finance Program at Stanford Universityís Graduate School of Business. While at the University of Arizona, she was a member of the womenís golf and basketball teams and later competed in softball on a national level. She has held licenses as a CPA, NASD General Securities Principal, and NASD Financial Principal.
Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Ms. Mariucci currently resides in Phoenix and La Jolla, California.
