Candice Dupree Suspended for One Game

NEW YORK, June. 14, 2013 – Candice Dupree of the Phoenix Mercury has been suspended for one game without pay for making contact with a game official, it was announced today by Todd DeMoss, WNBA Senior Director, Basketball Operations.

The incident occurred with 1:48 remaining in the second quarter of the Mercury’s 82-67 win over the Indiana Fever at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on June 8.

Dupree will serve her suspension tonight, June 14, when the Mercury play the Los Angeles Sparks at U.S. Airways Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on FOX Sports Arizona Plus.
