Trailing by one point in the first half, Mitchell heaved a one-handed toss from beyond halfcourt as time expired. It gave New York a 32-30 lead over Connecticut heading into half-time.

Meka, From The Top Of The Key | July 19 vs. Atlanta Dream | Madison Square Garden
With the score tied at 84, Christon sunk a three-pointer at the top of the key with 20.7 seconds remaining, to lift the Liberty over the Dream for the third time of the season.

Off-Balance Floater | August 16 vs. Washington Mystics | Verizon Center
Down by two points late in the fourth quarter, New York worked the ball to McCarville, who tossed up a one-handed off-balance floating shot from the lane and was fouled. The basket was good and tied the game, and the Libs center's free throw with 9.1 seconds remaining pushed the visitors past the Mystics for the first time of the summer.

Triple Three-Point Barrage | July 22 vs. Chicago Sky | UIC Pavilion
The Liberty was within one point of the Sky at the four-minute mark, as Spencer came off the bench to knock down a 21-footer, putting New York up by two. In the next possession, Spencer was fed the ball again to nail another trey and extended the visitors' lead to five. As Chicago answered with their own three-pointer in the next possession, Spencer sunk another from long range and New York never looked back.

Clutch Carson | September 10 vs. Detroit Shock | The Palace of Auburn Hills
En route to scoring a career-high 28 points, Carson sunk a three-pointer with six seconds remaining to tie at 84 and sent the match-up into overtime.

Driving Ms. McCarville | August 21 vs. Connecticut Sun | Madison Square Garden
After dropping a game two days prior to the Sun at Mohegan, New York struck back with an overtime thriller on its home court. McCarville’s driving lay-up with 8.2 seconds remaining in overtime sealed the victory.
