The Liberty holds an all-time series advantage of 20-13 over the Mystics. The last time these two teams saw each other was the final game of the 2006 regular season when New York defeated Washington, 93-81, in The Garden.

Three current Liberty players finished the 2006 campaign with season highs against the Mystics. In the last match-up vs. Washington:

Forward Shameka Christon grabbed 10 rebounds and scored 22 points.
Center Barb Farris dished out her season-high five assists.
Forward Cathrine Kraayeveld scored her season-high 22 points.

The Long Ball: Led by guard Erin Thorn, the Liberty shot 65 percent from beyond-the-arc in its last outing against the Sky, while the Mystics shot 38.5 percent against the Sun on Saturday. New York tied a franchise record with 13 three-pointers for the night.

On the Glass: Both squads grabbed 33 rebounds in their season openers.
