2007 Regular Season Series: New York won 2-0
All-Time Regular Season Series: New York leads 10-5

One of the best in the West will make its annual visit to New York on Saturday for the first meeting of the summer ... Although the Lynx currently hold one of the top three spots in their conference, the Libs hold the upperhand with an all-time record of 10-5 against Minnesota ...  New York has played the role of victors for two straight seasons in this series and has not lost on The Garden floor since July 15, 2005.

Cathrine Kraayeveld
Position: Forward
Ht: 6-4
Experience: 4th Season
Stat Line: 10.0 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 1.7 apg

Nicky Anosike
Position: Forward/Center
Ht: 6-3
Experience: 1st Season
Stat Line:  9.8 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 1.6 apg

Skinny: Kraayeveld was a force to be reckoned with for the Liberty last season in this two-game series ... She posted 16 and 21 points in both victories over Minnesota and has been a large contributing factor in New York's success thus far this summer ... Her 6.1 boards per game is not only a team-high, but a personal best for the starting forward ... The four-year vet will look to limit the rookie Anosike's game on the glass for second chance shots by the Lynx.

Points: Christon - 14.8
Rebounds: Kraayeveld - 6.1
Assists: Moore - 5.2

Points:  Augustus - 18.8
Rebounds: Anosike - 6.9
Assists: Augustus/Wiggins - 3.9
Etc, Etc.: In 2007, New York carried its youngest roster in franchise history with an average age of 24.4, while Minnesota was the WNBA's most youthful team at 23.9 ... This season, the Liberty has become the youngest, currently averaging 23.9 ... Even though both squads are still in the early stages of gaining maturity in the league, the energy factor will surely be on high on Saturday night at The Garden.
