What role did your Dad play in your basketball career?
He was always supportive of my career and always very encouraging. He was brutally honest and never let me settle for being just good enough.

What is the best advice your Dad gave you about basketball? And about life?
Don’t let anyone tell you what type of player you are.

What’s a special connection that only you and your Dad share that no one else in your family could claim?
The ability to wake up early the next morning, no matter how late or tired we were from the night before.

If you could give your Dad anything in the world, what would it be?
Endless round-trip first-class tickets to every corner of the world. He is an avid traveler and I know he would love to see more. Plus, an international phone so I could talk to him between trips.

What message would you like to share with your Dad on this year’s Dads & Daughter’s Day?
I would like to thank him for being the greatest dad a girl could ever wish for.
