Robinson Suffers Fractured Finger
Phoenix, AZ - June 24, 2004 - During the second half of the Los Angeles Sparks game on Tuesday, June 22, 2004, New York Liberty forward Crystal Robinson suffered a fractured fifth finger (pinkie) of her right hand. The injury will sideline her for a minimum of three and a half weeks.
The sixth year veteran, who started all 12 games for the Liberty, is averaging 10.8 ppg and shooting .944 percent from the free-throw line.
New York begins its second four-game road trip of the year with games against the Phoenix Mercury on June 24th, Seattle Storm on June 26th, Los Angeles Sparks on June 29th and Sacramento Monarchs on July 1st. The contest versus the Sparks will be broadcast live on Metro TV while the remaining three games will be carried on WWRL 1600 AM.
