The Liberty will begin its 10th season on the road when it visits the defending Eastern Conference Champion Connecticut Sun. The team will then make its home court debut on June 3, when superstar Lisa Leslie and the Los Angeles Sparks come to The Garden. The 2006 season is our 10th Anniversary, and as such, it holds special significance for us and we look forward to celebrating this milestone with all of the fans that made it possible, said Liberty Senior Vice President and General Manager Carol Blazejowski. "As has been the case since our inaugural season, our goal is to compete for the WNBA Championship, and to continue to provide New York sports fans those that are already passionate about the Liberty and those that will get to know us in 2006 outstanding basketball in a unique, family-friendly environment."
