Now that the Indiana Fever have locked up the fifth playoff berth in team history, they plan on building momentum for their postseason run.
The Fever seek a second straight victory - and the fourth in their last five road contests - on Tuesday when they face the recently eliminated Minnesota Lynx.
Indiana (15-16) has qualified for the WNBA playoffs five times since the franchise was established in 2000. It secured its fourth consecutive berth when Chicago lost to New York on Sunday.
The Fever have won three of five contests since the league's month-long break for the 2008 Beijing Games, including an 81-77 victory at lowly Atlanta on Monday.
Reserve Tan White scored 24 points - including a key short jumper with 28.3 seconds left - while Olympian Tamika Catchings added 20 points, 10 rebounds and six assists for Indiana, which won for the third time in four contests away from Conseco Fieldhouse.
Catchings - second on the team with 13.2 points per game - has regained her scoring touch lately, averaging 22.3 points over the last four contests. In that same span, White has averaged 15.7 points.
"Tamika was great again for us tonight, but Tan had the hot hand," Fever coach Lin Dunn said.
Center Tammy Sutton-Brown, who was not expected to be in the Fever's lineup after she suffered a left quadriceps bruise late in the first half of Friday's loss at Detroit, had 15 points and seven rebounds.
Indiana has three games remaining before starting its playoff run, including its final regular-season road game in Minnesota (14-17).
The Fever have won two of their last three contests at the Target Center, most recently 89-75 on May 29, 2007. But Minnesota came away with an 84-80 overtime road victory on July 24, when the clubs last met.
Things haven't gone as well for the Lynx lately as they concluded a winless four-game road trip versus Western Conference opponents with a 78-71 defeat at Sacramento on Sunday. The loss officially eliminated them from postseason contention.
"This is the end of the longest road trip in the history of life," said rookie Candice Wiggins, who finished with 13 points.
Rookie reserve Charde Houston scored 19 points, Seimone Augustus added 14, while Nicky Anosike had 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Lynx, who also have three games left.
Augustus - the Lynx's leading scorer with a 19.6 average - has averaged 21.3 points in her last three games versus the Fever.
