The Chicago Sky haven't had much success in their first two WNBA seasons. It might be hard to convince the Minnesota Lynx of that.

Chicago seeks its fourth straight win over Minnesota when it hosts the unbeaten Lynx on Thursday night.

Chicago (1-1) swept the two-game season series between the teams last year and is 3-1 against the Lynx since entering the league in 2006. Coming into this year, the Sky was 19-49 all-time.

Armintie Price, the 2007 rookie of the year, scored a career-high 22 points with four assists and three steals to help Chicago (1-1) win its home opener last Thursday, 87-77 over Sacramento.

"I can jump and pass, but I'm a professional athlete just like everybody else,'' said Price, who's averaging 10.0 points versus Minnesota (2-0). "I have to be able to step up and knock down shots when they pass it to me.''

Candice Dupree added 22 points, four assists and two steals for Chicago. Dominique Canty scored 14 and rookie Sylvia Fowles had 11 points and seven rebounds.

Fowles, a 6-foot-6 center selected second overall in this year's draft out of LSU, is averaging only 8.5 points but leads the team with 7.0 rebounds per game. Dupree, the Sky's center last season, averaged 22.5 points versus the Lynx.

Minnesota went 10-24 last year, but is off to its best start since 1999. The Lynx beat Houston 98-92 in overtime Tuesday in the Comets' home opener.

Seimone Augustus had 25 points and nine rebounds, and rookie Nicky Anosike scored 16 of her 20 points after halftime for the Lynx, who shot 46.7 percent (35-of-75) from the field and outrebounded the Comets 37-21.

"We had told our younger players all week how tough it was to win on the road. I'm not sure that they fully grasped that. Maybe it's not through any fault of theirs, but you have to experience it," Minnesota coach Don Zierden told the Lynx's official Web site after his team snapped a five-game losing streak against Houston.

Augustus, a former LSU star and two-time member of the All-WNBA second team, totaled 54 points in the two losses to Chicago last year. She leads Minnesota this season with 19.5 points and 3.5 assists per game.

Anosike, who helped Tennessee win the 2007-08 national championship, is second on the Lynx with 15.5 points and tied with Augustus for the team lead with 5.5 rebounds a contest.
