LOS ANGELES, Aug. 13 (Ticker) -- In one aspect, Lisa Leslie and the Los Angeles Sparks are perfect this season.

Leslie scored 24 points as the Sparks took control of the contest in the second quarter en route to a 78-59 rout of the Minnesota Lynx in the regular-season finale for both teams.

Leslie performance enabled her to finish the campaign averaging a career-high 20 points. The two-time Most Valuable Player added six rebounds, two steals and two blocks for Los Angeles, which ended the year with a 14-0 record when holding an opponent to less than 70 points.

The Sparks (25-9) will have home-court advantage throughout the Western Conference playoffs. They posted the league's best home record (15-2) at the Staples Center.

Los Angeles closed out the second period on a 18-2 run, capped on a 28-foot buzzer-beating 3-pointer by Lisa Willis for a 46-25 halftime cushion.

In her final outing as a rookie, Seimone Augustus netted just 11 points on 5-of-17 shooting for the Lynx (10-24), who ended its year with three straight defeats.
