INDIANAPOLIS, June 7 (Ticker) -- Tamika Catchings returned to the lineup and things went back to normal for the Indiana Fever.

Coming off back-to-back losses, the Fever cruised to an 83-70 victory over the Washington Mystics, who have dropped eight straight road games dating back to last season.

Catchings, who returned to the court after missing the previous two contests with a sprained right arch, showed no signs of rust by scoring 15 of her 26 points in the first half. The reigning Defensive Player of the Year also had 11 rebounds, three blocks and two steals.

Tully Bevilaqua had 15 points and Ebony Hoffman finished with 12 for Indiana, which began the season with a franchise-record 4-0 start.

Owning a 45-38 edge at the half, the Fever seized control of the contest with a 15-6 burst to start the third, going ahead 60-44 with 4:22 left in the quarter. They held a double-digit lead thereafter.

Alana Beard scored 18 points for the Mystics, who had their three-game winning streak snapped.
