UNCASVILLE, Conn., July 26 (Ticker) -- Coach Mike Thibault's team continues to take advantage of all the comforts of home.

All-Star Nykesha Sales scored 19 points and the Connecticut Sun remained undefeated at home this season with a 68-55 victory over the Indiana Fever.

The victory extended Connecticut's lead over Indiana to 3 1/2 games for first place in the Eastern Conference. With a 9-0 home record this year, the Sun (17-5) have won 14 straight at Mohegan Sun Arena dating to last season.

Sales, who scored 13 points in the first half, had six during an 18-2 run that broke open the game and gave Connecticut a 36-19 lead with 2:08 before intermission.

Australian Tully Bevilaqua scored 13 of her career-high 19 points in the second half and brought the Fever within 46-36 with a jumper with 13:21 to play.

However, the Sun pushed the margin back to 17 when Katie Douglas made a layup with 9:33 remaining for a 56-39 edge.

Douglas and Lindsay Whalen scored 13 points each and 7-2 center Margo Dydek grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked five shots for Connecticut, which has won five of six overall.

Tamika Catchings scored 13 points and had 10 rebounds for Indiana (13-8), which shot 33 percent (21-of-63) from the floor. The Fever lost for the second time in 11 games against conference opponents.
