SEATTLE, July 3 (Ticker) -- Lauren Jackson's early barrage helped the Seattle Storm cruise.

Jackson scored 23 of her season-high 32 points in the first half as the Storm built a big lead and posted a 75-61 victory over the Sacramento Monarchs.

Seattle never trailed as Jackson set the tone. The reigning league MVP nailed 3-pointers on her first three shot attempts as the Storm bolted to an 11-0 lead.

Sue Bird added 11 of her 16 points in the first half as Seattle shot 61.5 percent (16-of-26) to open a 49-32 advantage. The Storm led by as many as 29 points in the second half.

Reserve Hamchetou Maiga scored 17 points for Sacramento, which had a three-game winning streak snapped. The Monarchs' five starters combined for only 26 points.
