CHARLOTTE, June 28 (Ticker) -- Andrea Stinson scored 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Charlotte Sting to their sixth straight home win, 69-55 over the Connecticut Sun.

A basket by Rebecca Lobo put Connecticut ahead, 32-31, less than two minutes into the second half, but Shalonda Enis answered with a jumper to spark a 14-2 run by the Sting, who stretched their lead to 53-38 with just under 5 1/2 minutes remaining.

Teana McKiver added 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting and also pulled down nine rebounds for Charlotte, which got five points and nine boards from Enis. The Sting had a 40-27 rebounding edge.

Shannon Johnson led the Sun with 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting and Nykesha Sales chipped in 10 but was the only other Connecticut player in double figures.

Charlotte shot just 37 percent (20-of-54) from the field but was 27-of-29 from the free-throw line. It has not lost at home since a season-opening 74-70 setback to Washington on May 23.

Connecticut has dropped four of five, falling to 3-4 on the road.
