SACRAMENTO, Calif., June 7 (Ticker) -- Lisa Leslie had 21 points and 13 rebounds and Tamecka Dixon scored 11 of her 16 points in the first half as the Los Angeles Sparks rolled to a 79-61 victory over the Sacramento Monarchs.

The Sparks rallied for a two-point victory over the Monarchs on Thursday but seized control early in this one and cruised to their 10th straight regular-season victory over their Western Conference rivals.

Los Angeles had an early 9-6 lead before scoring 22 of the next 26 points, highlighted by eight from Dixon. Nikki Teasley capped the burst with a three-point play to give the Sparks a 31-10 cushion with 5:53 left.

Sacramento, which never got closer than 15 points thereafter, lost point guard Ticha Penicheiro to a shoulder injury with 12:40 remaining in the first half. Penicheiro did not score in six minutes.

DeLisha Milton scored 14 points and Teasley added eight and 11 rebounds for the Sparks, who are unbeaten after their first six games and have won 15 straight with last year's six-game postseason run.

Tangela Smith had 12 points and 11 rebounds and was the only player in double figures for Sacramento, which shot just 34 percent (22-of-65) and committed 19 turnovers.

All-Star forward Yolanda Griffith fouled out in 13 minutes with four points and two rebounds. Rookie Chantelle Anderson fouled out in 14 minutes with eight points off the bench.
