NEW YORK, Aug. 20 (Ticker) -- The New York Liberty taught the Indiana Fever it's not how you start but how you finish.

Crystal Robinson and Vickie Johnson drilled 3-pointers during a decisive second-half run as the Liberty returned to the Eastern Conference finals with a 75-60 come-from-behind victory over the Fever.

New York took the last two games of the best-of-three series at home and will face the Washington Mystics in their fifth consecutive appearance in the conference finals.

Appearing in the playoffs for the first time in team history, Indiana raced to a 17-2 lead less than 5 1/2 minutes into the decisive third game. But the Fever struggled after halftime as Rookie of the Year Tamika Catchings had just four points over the final 20 minutes.

Johnson scored 19 points to lead five players in double figures for the Liberty, who shot nearly 62 percent (21-of-34) after the break while holding the Fever to 44 percent (11-of-25).

Tamika Whitmore added 17 points and Tari Phillips, Teresa Weatherspoon and reserve Becky Hammon contributed 10 apiece for New York.

Nikki McCray led Indiana with 14 points and Olympia Scott-Richardson had 10 on 5-of-6 shooting. But the Fever were unable to overcome 20 turnovers.
