Practice Report: Dunn, Larkins on Chicago

By Wheat Hotchkiss | August 29, 2014

After an off day Thursday, the Fever returned to the practice court on Friday for another day of preparation before the Eastern Conference Finals begin Saturday when the Fever host the Chicago Sky for Game 1 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Much attention has been given to how the Fever will defend Elena Delle Donne, Chicago's rising star and the hero in the Sky's dramatic comeback Game 3 win over the Atlanta Dream in the last round. But Chicago also has several other talented players, including two-time Olympian Sylvia Fowles at center, two-time All-Star Epiphanny Prince at shooting guard, and veteran Courtney Vandersloot running the point.

In the video above, Fever head coach Dunn discusses the various challenges those players present. In the video below, Indiana center Erlana Larkins talks about how she approaches her matchup with Fowles and the possibility of also guarding Delle Donne for brief stretches in this series.
