Where are Fever Players Now?

Here is a look at where Indiana Fever players can be found during the 2004-05 offseason. Check back for updates throughout the offseason as the Girls of Summer prepare for a return to Indianapolis in May 2005!
Jenni Benningfield
A late season acquisition by the Fever, Jenni is playing in Spain this offseason, getting her first taste of professional leagues overseas. She plays for Estudiantes in Madrid, and a teammate of Kate Starbird.

Coretta Brown
After finishing her second year in the WNBA, Coretta will spend most of her offseason training in Indianapolis. When not in Indy, she spends most of her time with family in Statesboro, Ga.

Tamika Catchings
Catchings will not play overseas this offseason, opting to rest after nearly a year of constant play in the WNBA and internationally. She will return to the University of Tennessee this spring to continue the pursuit of a master’s degree. She will split her offseason training between Knoxville and Indianapolis.

Ebony Hoffman
The Fever’s outgoing rookie from 2004 has chosen to remain in Indianapolis this winter for offseason training and will serve as one of the Fever’s promotional spokespersons.

Niele Ivey
Ivey is currently living with family and her son Jaden in her hometown of St. Louis. She is planning to play overseas this offseason.

Deanna Jackson
With one Fever season under her belt, Deanna is playing overseas this season in China. Last year, she played internationally in Korea.

Kelly Miller
After being named the WNBA’s Co-Most Improved Player in 2004, Miller is spending time at her home in Arizona before going overseas to play in Korea. She and her sister, Coco, played together in Turkey last winter.

Astou Ndiaye-Diatta
Astou underwent knee surgery shortly after the end of the Fever season, and is rehabbing at her home in Pontiac, Mich., with her husband Ousman. Recently featured in Working Mother magazine, she plans to visit her family’s home in Senegal (Africa) in January.

Kristen Rasmussen
Back in Spain for a second consecutive offseason overseas, Kristen plays in the same league as Fever teammates Jenni Benningfield and Kate Starbird. She plans to spend her holiday season at home in Michigan, before returning to Spain to play through the spring.

Kelly Schumacher
Posting her finest season as a pro, Kelly is playing in China during the 2004-05 offseason.

Kate Starbird
A worldwide traveler and a veteran of international play, Kate is playing in Spain where she shares a home with teammate Jenni Benningfield.

Stephanie White
The Fever’s local Hoosier favorite is continuing to climb the coaching ladder this offseason, taking her talents to Kansas State as assistant coach in the Big XII Conference.

Natalie Williams
Recently inducted into the UCLA Athletics Hall of Fame, Natalie trains from her Salt Lake City home while raising her twins, Sidney and Turasi. She joined Astou Ndiaye-Diatta while recently featured in Working Mother magazine, and recently joined the coaching ranks as an assistant at Skyline High School.
