FEVER WAIVES LITTLES AND LUMANU; FEVER HOSTS SKY NEXT FRIDAY
As the Indiana Fever approaches the end of its opening week of training camp, the club has waived newcomers Lyndra Littles and Armelie Lumanu. Littles was a training camp free agent signed in March. Lumanu was the club’s second-round draft pick out of Mississippi State.
When the Fever entertains the Chicago Sky next Friday afternoon (12:00 p.m.) in its lone preseason home game, it will be Kids Day featuring Choices for Champions in partnership with the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. Students will hear from successful leaders and role models including Fever star Tully Bevilaqua, a player from the Sky and WISH-TV meteorologist Angela Buchman. The Choices for Champions Educational Program begins at 10:00 a.m. and includes a presentation by the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. The program is followed by a lunch break and concourse activities from 11:00 until tipoff. A $10 admission for students includes a soft drink, chips, hot dog and a complimentary ticket to the Children’s Museum. For tickets and further details on this event, call the Fever Hotline at (317) 917-2528.
