MVP Member of the Month: Conrad Piccirillo

This year, as part of the Fever's 15th anniversary celebration, we want to recognize some of our most loyal and dedicated fans. We're unveiling a new feature at Fever MVP Member of the Month. Each month, we'll recognize one of our MVP Members (full season ticket holders) for their support of the Fever. Below is a brief Q&A with our first honoree, Conrad Piccirillo.

Name: Conrad Piccirillo
Company: Innovative Edit
Tenure: Six-year season ticket holders

Q. Why did you become a Fever season ticket holder?

A. My friend and partner Terry Lingner was always talking about how hard the Fever play. Rick Fuson with the Pacers organization challenged me to catch one game. The entire game, I kept saying, "(Wow), these guys work their butts off." The fans were screaming the roof of the field house and we were hooked. Now we have 6 seats. Win or lose, they play right to the end of the game.

Q. As an MVP Member, what is your favorite benefit you receive?

A. We love the all of the special events. Our Fever representative Shira Amos is always making sure we know about every event. The Fever organization treats you like family.

Q. Who is your favorite player and why?

A. Tamika (Catchings). She plays her game like she lives her life, full out. She does so much in the community. She's an ambassador for good.

We love Coach Dunn. She's a championship coach who's a hell of a lot funnier than the Super Bowl commercials.

Q. What is your favorite Fever moment?

A. It was certainly watching the team hoist the championship trophy. Nothing like watching the veteran players celebrate a lifetime achievement and knowing the young players understand what it takes to make it back to the finals.

Q. Have you ever touched the 2012 WNBA Championship trophy?

A. I've never touched the trophy, but we've definitely lost our voices trying to help the team win it.
