Fever Signs Erlana Larkins and Jenna Smith

����������� INDIANAPOLIS � The Indiana Fever has signed Erlana Larkins and Jenna Smith to training camp contracts. Both average 11.5 rebounds per game in overseas competition this winter, in Turkey and Israel, respectively. Both have received invitation to the Fever training camp which begins April 29.
Larkins, 25, is a 6-1 forward and a former All-American at North Carolina who was a first-round draft pick by the New York Liberty in 2008. She was in training camp with the Phoenix Mercury in 2011 and currently plays for Mersin in the Turkish League where she teams with Fever guard Shavonte Zellous. Second in the Turkish League in rebounding, she averages a double-double that includes 10.7 points per game.

����������� Smith, 23, is a 6-3 center who currently plays for B.C. Habikaa in Israel. She also posts a double-double average overseas with 19.8 points per game. She ranks fourth in the Israeli League in rebounding and is sixth in scoring. Smith was an All-Big Ten performer during her college career at Illinois. She was a second-round draft pick by the Washington Mystics in 2010.
