INDIANA FEVER AND FEVERBASKETBALL.COM PLAN UNPRECEDENTED DRAFT COVERAGE
For the first time in franchise history, Fever coaches and front office staff including General Manager Kelly Krauskopf and Head Coach Lin Dunn will participate in a two-way online chat from inside the Indiana draft room at Conseco Fieldhouse. Fever fans are encouraged to interact and submit questions for special guests throughout the draft, which takes place Thursday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Indiana owns the sixth selection in the first round, and also the No. 19 and No. 32 picks overall.
FeverBasketball.com will also provide video from inside the Fever draft room, and offer discounts on Fever jerseys for its rookie draft picks. Rookie jerseys may be purchased at a 30 percent discount online throughout the day on April 9. Rookie jerseys will remain at a 20 percent discount online, through the rest of the month, from April 10 to April 30.
Concurrent with the draft is the first day that 2009 single-game tickets are available to the public. To celebrate the Fevers 10th anniversary season, ticket offers will be available throughout the day on April 9, at all ticket outlets. All purchases from the Conseco Fieldhouse Box Office will include a discount coupon for Fever items at the Home Court Gift Shop. Special offers are as follows:
10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Individual game tickets, including lower level tickets, will be available for $5. For every Fever ticket purchased at the box office, buyers will receive 50 percent off one Fever item at the Home Court Gift Shop.
11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Individual game tickets, including lower level tickets, will be available for $8. For every Fever ticket purchased at the box office, buyers will receive 40 percent off one Fever item at the Home Court Gift Shop.
12:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Individual game tickets, including lower level tickets, will be available for $10. For every Fever ticket purchased at the box office, buyers will receive 30 percent off one Fever item at the Home Court Gift Shop.
The Indiana Fever celebrates its 10th anniversary season in 2009, opening the summer season at Atlanta on Saturday, June 6 (7:00 p.m.), and hosting the Minnesota Lynx on June 7 (7:00 p.m.) exactly 10 years after the franchise was founded (June 7, 1999).
