Curry Waived from Fever Camp

The Indiana Fever has waived point guard Edniesha Curry from its training camp roster.

Curry, a 2002 draft pick of the Charlotte Sting, has been in previous training camps with Charlotte and Phoenix. She played 20 games with Phoenix in 2003. She is the first player waived during the Fever�s 2005 training camp.

Indiana�s current training camp roster of 16 players must be trimmed to 15 by Tuesday, May 3 � the same day that the Fever plays its first preseason game, at Notre Dame, against the Detroit Shock (7:30 p.m.).

Indiana hosts its lone preseason home game on Tuesday, May 10, against the Phoenix Mercury (7:00 p.m.), and travels to Phoenix for a final preseason tuneup on May 15.
