Fever Hosts Adopt-A-Pet Night and Rally
INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Fever is partnering with Indianapolis Animal Care & Control (IACC) for Adopt-A-Pet Night when the Houston Comets visit Indianapolis on Thursday, July 7 (7:00 p.m.). The Fever, in conjunction with Emmis Communications, will conduct an Adopt-A-Pet Rally on Monument Circle on Wednesday, July 6, complete with animals, to promote Thursday’s game.
Approximately 15 dogs and cats from the shelter will be on display and available for adoption on the Main Concourse of Conseco Fieldhouse before and during the game. Fans may adopt their new pet for $60 which includes the spay/neuter procedure, first round of vaccinations, heartworm or feline leukemia test, preventive flea treatment and a microchip. Fans may to take their pet home immediately following the game, or arrange to pick up from IACC at a later date.
In what is the third straight year the Fever has hosted Adopt-A-Pet Night. As a prelude to Adopt-A-Pet Night, IACC and the Fever are hosting the rally on Wednesday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in front of Emmis Communications. This free lunchtime activity features fun activities and giveaways, as well as promotional information and adoptable pets.
