"This offseason I want to go to Amsterdam. I haven't been there and one of my teammates now in L.A. is from the Netherlands and says I have to go. She says it's a good time and I'll have a lot of fun so I'll do that this offseason."
Q. Do you have a favorite place to vacation?
Spain. Before I ever played there. I just love it. The Canary Islands. It's easy to get around in Spain; the train system is pretty easy. You just hop on a train. I love Barcelona. I just like the Spanish culture, you have a good time, a siesta. It's just real laid back and chill.
Q. If you could choose, would you prefer to be on
a beach, hiking and camping out, or visiting a museum?
"I would say, I'm like 50-50 on a beach and the museums. Sometimes I hate the sand, but I love the [El] Prado Museum in Spain. They have great architecture, so I love going to museums."
What are your favorite WNBA cities to visit?
"The best? NYC! I'm a New York girl and I love going to New York. New York just has everything. People complain it's the hustle and bustle, but it's the city that never sleeps. You has everything that you want: the shopping, the fashion. You can get anything. It has style."
Q Would you say New York is the best city for shopping?
"That's it. New York, New York."
Q. Prior to last season, you did some "traveling"
of sorts, going from the Eastern Conference to the West. Yet, you still had a
great season and made the All-Star Team. What was that like?
"It feels great that I've left one coast and go to the other and play at an All-Star caliber. It's exciting. It was different for me, coming back this year with all the changes I've been in a different city with the adjustments. But to be back there on this side of things was kind of weird. I was kind of hanging out with a whole new crew because I had been used to being with the East players."
