What is your favorite exercise for the lower body?
Smith-Taylor uses the bench press to help her compete against larger post players.

What is your favorite exercise for the upper body?
Bench press. [It develops] overall body strength and the ability to battle with post players that are twice my size.
What is your favorite cardio exercise?
Playing basketball. I do not like to use cardio machines.
How do you work out on your off days during the season?
I do pool exercises and try to play a lot of pick-up games.
What do you do to stay in shape during the offseason?
I do a lot of low impact pool exercises to rest my knees.
What is your toughest fitness challenge?
I think my toughest fitness challenge is squats.
What kind of music do you listen to while you lift?
Anything from rap to gospel to old school hip hop.
What kind of healthy snacks do you eat after working out?
Smoothies after lifting.
